Investor Relations (Venture Capital) Director/Executive Director

You will play a pivotal role in driving the firm's fundraising efforts, cultivating and managing LP relationships, and overseeing investor communications for our venture capital platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of venture capital fund structures, institutional fundraising processes, and investor reporting best practices, along with outstanding communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead capital raising efforts across venture capital funds, co-investment vehicles, and bespoke investment opportunities.
2. Develop and execute fundraising strategies targeting family offices, smaller institutional investors, fund-of-funds, endowments, foundations, wealth managers, and high-net-worth investors.
3. Manage the full fundraising lifecycle from investor origination and qualification through due diligence, negotiation, and fund closing.
4. Serve as a primary point of contact for existing and prospective investors.
5. Coordinate responses to investor requests, DDQs, RFPs, and operational due diligence inquiries.
6. Monitor fundraising trends, investor sentiment, and market developments within the venture capital landscape.
7. Represent the firm at industry conferences, investor forums, and networking events.
8. Provide investor feedback and market intelligence to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
9. Support fund launches, new product initiatives, and market expansion efforts.

Qualifications

1. 10+ years of experience in investor relations in venture capital or private equity.
2. Existing network among institutional investors, family offices, fund-of-funds, and private wealth platforms.
3. Demonstrated track record of raising capital from family offices and smaller institutional investors across Asia.
4. Strong understanding of venture capital fund structures, LP/GP dynamics and private fund operations.
5. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
6. Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
7. Business proficiency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin/Bahasa
8. Familiarity with venture capital, growth equity, technology investing, and startup ecosystems.
