IT Assistant

Department/Hospital: Information Technology Department, Haven of Hope Hospital
Pay: HK$18,772 to HK$27,413 (HGPS point 3 to 9) per month including Monthly Allowance 
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out IT support and administration tasks as required by supervisor for the implementation of IT solutions in responsible areas. 
2. Perform hardware and software installation.
3. Provide technical and user support on hospital IT systems, desktop & office automation applications, network infrastructure, etc.
4. Assist in HA corporate system implementation and planning in hospitals.
5. Provide after office hours system support.
6. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Entry Requirements:
1.    (a) Passes in 5 Subjects including English Language (Syllabus B) & Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent.
  OR
  (b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified    below:
      - Level 2 in English Language and Mathematics; and
      - Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category/ Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent.
2. Completed a recognized diploma or higher course in IT of at least 2 years in duration.

Preferred Attributes:
1. At least 1 year of solid working experience in IT operations.
2. Experience in handling computer installation and assembling.
3. Knowledge in LAN and Microsoft Windows System.
4. Good PC skill in MS office, Chinese word processing, PowerPoint, Excel & Access.
5. Able to read and write Chinese and English, and speak fluent Cantonese.
6. Work independently and possess a positive customer service attitude.
