IT BA - Equity Research

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst (BA) with experience in Equity Research and client portal development to join our team. The successful candidate will help ensure our Equity Research platform meets business needs, supports growth objectives, and delivers a high-quality experience for institutional clients.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Equity Research analysts, Sales, and clients to design and deliver a strategic, user-friendly institutional client portal.
• Lead and support software development projects by translating business needs into clear requirements and actionable delivery plans.
• Ensure the Equity Research platform is aligned with business goals and supports ongoing product improvements.
• Drive integration efforts between the Equity Research platform and other systems and tools.
• Gather requirements, perform process analysis, and analyze data to inform product decisions.
• Define and align with the business on data administration practices and documentation/governance.

Key Areas of Responsibility (KRAs)

• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure features are delivered on time and meet stakeholder needs.
• Conduct user research and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure platform integration with relevant internal systems and third-party tools.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to support continuous innovation and enhancement.
• Create clear documentation, including requirements, process flows, and data governance materials.
• Maintain strong stakeholder engagement to manage priorities, risks, and alignment across teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a BA (or similar role) in financial services, with experience supporting client portal initiatives.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to guide product decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
