IT Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with business stakeholders, external vendors, and internal IT teams to ensure smooth end-to-end project delivery.
• Participate in project stand-ups/sync meetings and recurring business review sessions.
• Provide weekly status updates to the IT Operations team, including sufficient technical detail.
• Conduct business and functional analysis to verify that solutions meet business, operational, and audit requirements.
• Partner with the Project Manager and business users to triage and report issues with clear technical details to support effective troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with system vendors and internal IT teams to ensure the successful deployment of the PMS and its integration with related systems.
• Work with vendors to create, review, and update project documentation, including user manuals, SOPs, data flow diagrams, and system integration diagrams.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, vendor, and IT Operations to arrange knowledge transfer, complete service design, and prepare all handover materials to enable smooth transition to operations.
• Support UAT, parallel runs, and go-live activities.

Experience (Minimum / Preferred)

• Minimum: 6 years of experience in Business Analysis or an equivalent role.
• Minimum: 4 years of experience in the Hospitality industry, with a solid understanding of day-to-day business operations.
• Advantage: Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Excellent problem-solving, process management, and negotiation skills.
• Added advantage: Experience in software development.
• Added advantage: Familiarity with Hotel, Casino, and/or Retail operations.
• Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure.
