IT Business Analyst, Equity Derivatives, Investment bank

Key Areas of Responsibilities

1. Coordinate with the business to maintain and enhance existing operations ensuring seamless and efficient workflow integration.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, engaging with business stakeholders to recommend and develop effective technical solutions.
3. Maintain comprehensive documentation of functional requirements, system design specifications, and user manuals to facilitate regulatory compliance and support knowledge transfer.
4. Translate business needs into technical solutions using Java and SQL scripting, automating processes and seamlessly integrating front-to-back systems to improve operational efficiency.
5. Conduct thorough testing of new features and system enhancements prior to deployment, documenting all results for audit trail and compliance verification.
6. Provide training and detailed documentation to support teams, promoting knowledge sharing and contributing to the long-term sustainability of business operations.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or Engineer discipline
2. Around 8-10 years relevant experiences in financial services sector including 3-5 years in
3. system development
4. Strong understanding of equity swaps or OTC options or other equity derivatives products
5. Strong development skills in Java, Spring framework, SQL and web-based application
6. development
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
8. Team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
9. Excellent communication in English and Chinese
