About Our Client

Our client is a multinational Italian corporate and investment bank and they are now opening an exciting role of KYC Analyst to join the KYC department to handle KYC review, documentation review, AML controls, transaction analysis for institutional/ corporate/ FI clients. The firm has strong international presences in 25 countries in support of its corporate and financial institution customers' cross-border business including Hong Kong.

Job Description

Responsible for KYC review, documentation review and perform all necessary task to ensure all existing corporate and entity accounts are within regulatory guidelines established by Compliance Department procedures
Conduct research, transaction analysis and account activity tracking
Verify supporting identification documents for signatories found in the Credit/Legal files
Review, update existing corporate entities for submission to Account Officer for review and approval for subsequent delivery to the Compliance Department
Send Request for Information (RFI) to Account Officers/or Assistants to obtain current or missing documentation in accordance with the banks procedures
Adhere to/completion of AML controls including monitoring for "red flags" and referring to Compliance Department as needed
Provide training to department staff as required
Assist in ad hoc duties under the direction of the supervisor

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's Degree with major in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or relevant discipline
3-5 years of working experience in KYC/ AML, KYC review, compliance for institutional, corporate, FI clients within international banks/ financial institutions
Immediately Available candidate preferred
Strong knowledge in AML rules and regulations; KYC policies and procedures
Able to work independently and a strong team player, able to work under stress and pressure
Strong interpersonal skills and strong organization skills
Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese
