Lead Engineer Low-Latency Trading Systems

Location: Hong Kong

About the Role:

We're looking for a senior developer to build and enhance our equity derivatives trading platform. You'll work on pre-trade pricing, real-time analytics, risk management, and automated hedging strategies — all within a low-latency distributed environment.

What You Will Do:

1. Develop high-performance code for pricing, volatility fitting, and trade capture
2. Collaborate with traders, quants, risk, and operations teams
3. Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and maintainable
4. Provide tier-2 support for trading applications

What We Are Looking For:

1. Strong Core Java (multithreading, low-latency experience)
2. Linux and distributed systems knowledge
3. Solid understanding of equity derivatives (pricing, risk, order management)
4. You're a hands-on developer who enjoys solving complex problems at the intersection of technology and finance.
5. You communicate well across teams and take pride in building reliable, fast systems.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with messaging systems (Solace, ZeroMQ)
2. Knowledge of zero-GC principles
3. Background in trading or risk systems
