Job Description - Leveraged and Acquisition Finance

Overview
The role supports the origination, structuring, execution, and portfolio management of leveraged finance and acquisition finance transactions, including LBOs, sponsor-backed deals, and event-driven financings, in partnership with coverage, M&A, and sponsor teams.

What's Your Role

Support the structuring, analysis, and execution of leveraged and acquisition finance transactions (e.g. LBOs, refinancings, structured finance).
Prepare and review financial models, credit papers, cash flow analyses, and transaction materials.
Assist in term sheet development and coordinate internal approval processes.
Work with Relationship Managers, Investment Banking, M&A, and Financial Sponsor teams on deal origination and pitching.
Participate in client meetings and assist with preparation of pitch books and tailored financing solutions.

What You'll Need to Do

At least 3 years of relevant experience in Structured Finance / Leveraged finance
Background in leveraged finance, acquisition finance, structured finance, or credit analysis at a bank or financial institution.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
CFA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
Strong financial modeling and credit analysis skills.
Solid understanding of leveraged loan structures, acquisition finance, and corporate credit fundamentals.
Familiarity with loan documentation and covenant structures preferred.
