ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an organized and proactive Logistics Officer to join our team in Hong Kong on a 6-month fixed-term contract to cover a maternity leave. In this role, you’ll keep our daily supply chain running smoothly by handling everything from monitoring shipments and tracking inventory accuracy to working closely with key suppliers, warehouses, and freight forwarders, ensuring timely status updates and seamless, on-time deliveries. This role reports to the Head of Supply Chain and is based in our Hong Kong office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support day-to-day logistics operations and provide customers with timely, professional status updates; liaise closely with suppliers, warehouses, and freight forwarders.


• Maintain effective communication channels to manage and fulfil customer requirements.


• Monitor shipment status and oversee daily shipment and distribution operations.


• Prepare & ensure shipping documentation is complete and readiness throughout the logistics process.


• Maintain inventory accuracy and track stock movements to ensure on-time delivery. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Quick learner with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus under pressure, and adapt to a variety of operational challenges.


• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively as a strong team player.


• Capable of executing detailed procedures accurately within time-constrained environments.


• Knowledge of international trade laws and regulations preferred.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a mature and engaging personality.


• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.


• Strong sense of time management with the ability to handle urgent situations effectively.


• Computer-savvy, with working knowledge of logistics software and ERP systems.


• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent practical experience.


• 2+ years of relevant experience in supply chain management and logistics operations, with an understanding of financial and business needs; experience in a multinational or start-up environment is a plus.
