The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
To manage the formulation and implementation of various subsidy schemes administered by URA
To lead the project team for promoting and propagation the rehabilitation, as well as facilitating Incorporated Owners (IOs) / Owners in the planning and implementation of the rehabilitation works
To develop, maintain and refine the Case Management System (CMS) for the consistent and efficient implementation of the rehabilitation programs
To support the scheme holders of other subsidy schemes no matter in the scheme planning stage as well as the implementation stage for delivery the quality services at the district team level
To coordinate with key implementation partners and stakeholders in promoting building rehabilitation, including local community group, co-ordinators of the District Councillor’s office, NGOs, Buildings Department and other government departments, professional bodies and academics, etc.
Requirements:
Degree holder in relevant building / construction profession or housing management related discipline
Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. MCIOB / MHKIA / MHKIE / MHKIH / MHKIS / MCIH) or other equivalent
Minimum 8 years’ relevant work experience with at least 4 years’ post qualification experience in the building / construction field or housing management field with at least 3 years of supervisory experience
