Job Description - Manager, Business Planning Management, Chinese Private Bank

The Chinese Private Bank is seeking a candidate to join the Business Planning team. This role serves as a key bridge between the Hong Kong Branch and Head Office, supporting senior management in business planning, performance monitoring, and strategic communication. The successful candidate will play a critical role in business analysis, KPI reporting, and preparing high-quality management presentations to facilitate effective decision-making and alignment with Head Office.
Your new role
Act as a liaison between the Hong Kong Branch and Head Office, ensuring clear, accurate, and timely communication
Prepare and consolidate business performance reports, including KPI tracking, financial and non-financial metrics
Conduct in-depth business and market analysis to support strategic planning and management decision-making
Develop high-quality presentations, reports, and briefing materials for senior management and Head Office
Monitor business performance against targets and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Coordinate with internal stakeholders across business units to gather insights and ensure alignment with Head Office requirements
Ensure consistency and accuracy of data and messaging across all reporting deliverables
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in business management, strategy, financial analysis, in a Private Bank
Prior experience in Business Management, or Front Office support roles within banking or financial institutions is highly preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience preparing materials for senior management
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
High level of attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong spoken and written communications skills in English and Chinese Mandarin
