Our client is a leading global investment bank with a strong presence in Hong Kong, committed to excellence, innovation, and integrity. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a highly skilled Operational Risk professional to join the dynamic team.

Job Description

Develop, implement, and maintain operational risk frameworks and policies
Partner with front office, middle office, and support functions to identify and mitigate risks
Conduct Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) across business units
Design, monitor, and report on Key Risk Indicators (KRI) to track emerging risks
Perform risk assessments, scenario analysis, and control testing
Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance with reguators and global standards
Provide training and guidance to business units on risk awareness and best practices
Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and committees

The Successful Applicant

Minimum 7 years of experience in operational risk within investment banking or financial services
Master's degree is a must (Finance, Risk Management, Economics, or related discipline preferred)
Strong knowledge of risk frameworks, governance, and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating across diverse teams
Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English
