Merchandise Planning Assistant (1 year contract)

Purpose of Position

• CASETiFY is seeking a Merchandise Planning Assistant to join our Product Lifecycle Management team. The chosen candidate will support data maintenance and reporting, sales data analysis, and demand forecasting to optimize product assortment and inventory levels for all sales channels. This role will help ensure optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand.

Job Description

• Compiling data from different data sources and systems.


• Maintain data integrity.


• Develop and execute comprehensive merchandise plans that align with financial goals and sales forecasts.


• Collaborate with country, retail, and marketplace teams to plan material replenishment to regional hubs and retail stores.


• Analyze sales performance and market trends to make inventory decisions.


• Validate and review the forecast to drive forecast accuracy.


• Coordinate with product development on new product introductions and product phase-outs.


• Support data analysis, reporting, and presentations.


• Assist with ad hoc projects and new initiatives.

Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.


• 1+ years of experience in Merchandising, Retail Stock Allocation, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, or Product Management. Fresh graduates are also welcome. 


• Proficiency in  ERP & MRP systems is a plus.


• Proficiency in Business Intelligence Tools is a plus. Tableau experience is an absolute advantage.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel skills are an absolute advantage.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.


• Ability to clearly and effectively convey complex information.


• Self-motivated, agile, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
