Pay\: HK$38,290 – HK$67,526 (HGPS Pt. 15 – Pt. 27) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Team in NTWC, the incumbent will support several aspects of the following areas:

1.       Serve as hospital OSH account manager.

2.       Assist Cluster Hospitals to comply with requirements of OSH related legislation.

3.       Assist managers and specialist on implementation of cluster OSH management system, hazard management and OSH initiatives / programmes.

4.       Conduct and follow up risk assessments, OSH training, OSH inspections, OSH audit, accident and incident investigations, emergency response and/or exposure assessment and monitoring.

5.       Assist in anticipating, recognizing, evaluating and controlling OSH hazards.

6.       Provide executive support to various meetings and collaborate with various stakeholders on OSH issues, such as OSH Committees, Working Groups, department representatives and HO OSH Team.

7.       Manage inventory and maintenance of OH / OSH equipment.

8.       Provide support to monitoring of OSH performance and document control.

9.       Assist in coordinating Labour Department inspections and accident/ incident investigations.

10.    Organize OSH promotion program such as forum, award and publications.

11.    Support ad hoc projects and any other related duties as assigned.

Entry Requirement:

1.       A university degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) / Occupational Hygiene (OH) / science / engineering.

Preferable Attributes/Exposure:

1.    A university degree in science should be preferably in the areas of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Healthcare subjects.

2.    If holding a university degree in science or engineering, also obtain a diploma or higher in OSH / OH.

3.    Eager to pursue professional development and obtain relevant qualifications in Occupational Hygiene and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH).

4.    Working experience in healthcare sector.

5.    Sound knowledge of relevant legal requirements.

6.    Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

7.    People-oriented, good interpersonal and organizational skills.

8.    Strong PC skills in general office administration such as MS Word (English and Chinese), PowerPoint, Excel and website development etc.

9.    Self-motivated, ability to work independently.
