The Center for Education Innovation is looking for a self-motivated and good team player to apply for the above position.

Key Responsibilities

• Technology Leadership: Act as the primary technology expert and lead IT initiatives within the Center, ensuring our tech capabilities align with the university's educational goals.

• Infrastructure Health & Maintenance: Perform routine, proactive health checks on all servers, networks, and office hardware. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining system integrity, and ensuring zero downtime so that daily office operations run smoothly.

• Procurement Oversight: Manage and oversee the end-to-end office procurement activities. You will be responsible for ensuring that all purchasing workflows—from initial request and vendor negotiation to final delivery and financial closure—are properly executed in compliance with university policies.

• Operational Support: Provide high-level technical support to the administration team and teaching staff, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.

• Vendor Management: Liaise with external IT vendors, suppliers, and university central IT services to coordinate upgrades, repairs, and the acquisition of new technologies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related discipline.

• Experience: Proven experience in server administration, hardware troubleshooting, and general IT operations.

• Administrative Skills: Demonstrated experience managing procurement workflows, tracking purchase orders, and overseeing budget utilization from initiation to closure.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of server environments, networking basics, and enterprise hardware maintenance.

• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and strong communication skills. You must be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff effectively.

• Mindset: Proactive, highly organized, and capable of working independently as the sole technical authority within an administrative team.

(Duration: 2 years)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
