Officer (MSc Alumni Engagement) - School of Business and Management (MSc Programs Office)

The MSc Programs Office of HKUST Business School is looking for a dynamic and fast-paced individual to join the MSc Alumni Engagement team. Duties include but are not limited to the following key areas:

• Assist in maintaining and updating the MSc alumni database, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of alumni records.
• Assist in providing administrative and logistical support for local and overseas MSc alumni events, including reunions, mentorship programs, and other alumni activities. Responsibilities include assisting with event planning, invitations, on‑site support, and post‑event follow‑up.
• Assist in preparing basic reports, event summaries, documentation, and assisting with alumni communications such as emails and promotional materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate should be a good team player who is highly motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and a problem-solving mindset. The appointee should have good interpersonal skills and strong ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently to meet deadlines. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese is a must. The appointee should also be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with basic computer knowledge. Working outside regular office hours may be required. Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Assistant Officer. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
