Pay \: HK$20,159 - HK$24,503 per month

Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. To assist in the daily supervision and delivery of business support services which include:

(a) Housekeeping, cleansing, pest control;

(b) Patient portering and material transportation;

(c) Linen and uniform exchange;

(d) Security, carpark and road control;

(e) Mortuary operation, including dead body transfer and claims;

(f) Hospital rehabilitation bus operation;

(g) Tree management;

(h) Fire safety

2. To liaise with users and service contractors in the services provisions.

3. To assist in service monitoring through day-to-day inspection and staff supervision, follow up improvement, documentation as well as report compilation.

4. To assist the data collection in daily services and to assist the data analysis.

5.  To handle staff issues including duty roster planning, maintenance of staff records, staff training and performance management.

6. To assist in requisition and control of supplies including consumables, tools and equipment.

7.  To assist the asset management in the department.

8. To handle emergencies and other ad hoc incidents independently.

9. To perform overnight duties and any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

Entry Requirements

(1) Completed F.5 / S.5 with:

(i) Passes in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination or equivalent; OR

(ii) 5 subjects in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:

- Level 2 in English Language & Chinese Language; and

- Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent;

AND with relevant working experience in staff supervision, hospital operation, housekeeping, transportation, facilities management, or customer service; OR

(2) Able to (i) read and write Chinese, (ii) speak fluent Cantonese and (iii) read, write and speak simple English; AND 1 year relevant working experience in staff supervision, hospital operation, housekeeping, transportation, facilities management, or customer service.

Preferred Attributes / Exposure

1. Training in Property Management / Hospital Management / Housekeeping / Occupational Safety & Health or related disciplines.

2. Experience in hospital service is an advantage.

3. Good communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills.

4. Knowledge of PC applications, e.g. MS Word, MS Excel and other general applications.
