Department/ Hospital\: Day Medical Center, Tseung Kwan O Hospital
Pay: HK$20,159 to HK$25,195 per month
Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform blood pressure monitoring, vital signs, blood taking and ECG examinations for the patients.
2. Assist patients in clinical examinations, bed side procedures, other investigative procedures and minor operation theater in DMC.
3. Provide supportive assistance for healthcare professionals during care process and assist in examination and other procedures.
4. Prepare medical records for patients and file the clinic notes or make phone calls to patients for follow up and other appointment arrangements.
5. Perform reception services, e.g. answer telephone enquiries and explain simple information to patient, etc.
6. Tidy and prepare consultation rooms, treatment rooms and minor operation theater in DMC.
7. Clean the used instruments and utensils before sterilization / autoclaving and handling the clinical waste.
8. Collect specimens and update the collection time in CMS
9. Perform normal clerical duties such as answering telephone inquiries, making patients’ appointments, in-putting data into treatment information system, filing, record keeping and messengerial duties.
10.To perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Entry Requirements:
1. (a) Completed F.5 / S.5 or equivalent; OR
    (b) Completed F.3 / S.3 or equivalent (see Remarks) and with 1 year relevant experience ; AND
2. Completed recognized Care-related Support Worker Training Course / Health Care Assistant
Training Course; AND
3. Completed in-service/ departmental training (see Remarks).    

Preferable Attributes/exposure:
1. Obtained certificate in blood taking procedure.
2. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
3. Good interpersonal skill, self-motivated, willing to learn and able to work independently
