Principal Consultant or Associate Director - Financial & Corporate Communications

We are now inviting applications for the position of Principal Consultant/ Associate Director. At CDR, we believe in nurturing talent and providing opportunities for professional development.

We are looking for a candidate who can work with clients across the financial and corporate sectors. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead client accounts and guide teams to deliver to the highest standards


• Offer strategic counsel and advice to clients and colleagues


• Develop and implement customized PR and IR strategies that help promote the client’s brand image and equity story


• Provide media strategies for PR and IR campaigns for clients, such as arranging media interviews, organizing and executing events


• Develop corporate PR materials including press releases, presentation decks


• Liaise closely and maintain good relationship with media in HK and in APAC


• Support business development pitches and proposals with research and strategic ideas

The ideal candidate has:

• Around 8-10 years of experience in financial public relations, with a strong focus on corporate communications and investor relations. A track record of serving financial institutions and multi-national corporations is preferred.


• A demonstrable passion for finance and strong communication skills


• Excellent spoken and written proficiency in both Chinese and English; with good spoken Mandarin


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


• Proficiency in utilizing AI tools to improve efficiency and output quality


• A proven ability to work effectively within a team
