We are seeking a suitably experienced and qualified individual to bring their expertise, insight and knowledge to a key role within a vital area of the organization. This role will be based in Hong Kong.
Principal, MMB Hong Kong
Responsible for a mix of account management and broking, this role will provide quality advice and service to clients on their insurance products and risk exposure, partner with the sales team to grow the business and participate in all stages of solution delivery. This role will lead and inspire a multi-team department to execute its strategy and achieve its operational goals.
We will count on you to:
- Administer, mentor and oversee performance management for a medium to large size group, coordinate workload of team members and ensure team is appropriately staffed to meet client needs.
- Establish a trusted advisor relationship and expand the dialogue with the client to discuss both current and emerging risks, ensuring the client receives the best of what the Company has to offer.
- Design preparation, management, implementation and achievement of team/ unit business plans and goals.
- Ensure the maximization of team and account profitability through the implementation of efficient and effective work practices, adequate client billing and sensible expense control.
- Formulate and strengthen effective long term relationships with own and Account Executives’ key client decision makers and frequently monitor political, management and other changes within client organizations to preserve and protect the Company's relationship with the client.
- Utilize a near complete understanding of the client's business, risk management and insurance needs to ensure that our services and programs continue to meet their complex needs and expectations.
- Establish and lead implementation of clear and effective renewal and broking strategies, ensuring renewal performance exceeds set targets.
- Deliver positive and tenacious client retention and development focus amongst subordinates through regular communication of client status and retention issues.
- Lead revenue generation, growth and other opportunities by actively developing additional business from existing portfolio and other sources in line with budget targets.
