POSITION PURPOSE

The role of the Recruiter Asia is to recruit and fill open positions in Aseop using most effective means from a cost and efficiency perspective. Can act as a talent advisor for Aesop and bringing the business the necessary talent to drive brand transformation. This is achieved through business knowledge, talent market expertise as well as strong assessment skill.

AESOP CAPABILITIES

This role is at the Self level, which refers to Contributors who deliver service and support directly to internal and external clients, for example, Coordinator, Assistant and Retail Consultant. The critical Aesop Capabilities for this role are (in order of priority):

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage the entire search process for Corporate (Office) level openings for Asia region
  • Partner with hiring manager to develop position specifications and job posting
  • Develop and execute recruitment sourcing strategy
  • Be creative in thinking about and expanding sources of candidates through non agency means
  • Facilitate candidate assessment, selection and offer process
  • Conduct CVs screening, interviews and providing comments and co-ordination of interviews. This also including managing the same process for internal talent
  • Partner with HRBP team member to manage on-boarding process
  • Network within the industry; conduct exploratory interviews to develop candidate pipeline for succession planning
  • Build relationship with staff of client groups at all levels based on trust and respect
  • Be the brand ambassador, represents the company at its best, be a role model and constantly strive to communicate the best image of Aesop to the market
  • work on other HR projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree (ideally in Business Management) or Human Resources Management or related degree programs.
  • 5-7 years of relevant in house TA experience ideally gained within an MNC environment and experience
  • A previous significant experience in Retail / Service Industry is highly preferred but not a must
  • Strong functional expertise in talent recruiting, management and related initiatives are key
  • Highly self-motivated with ability to drive change in a high pressured and fast pace environment with minimal supervision
  • Champion best practice processes, tools and commitment to provide quality talent acquisition strategy
  • Strong project management skills and results oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal skill as well as oral and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation management experience
  • Knowledge of reputable ATS and the experience of being part of a major roll out is a plus
  • Business savvy, possesses entrepreneurial spirit to generate innovative solutions and deliver with excellence
  • Experience in HR projects is an advantage
  • Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of an Asian language is a plus
