The Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Recruiter to join our Human Capital team in Hong Kong. This role will be responsible for driving recruitment activities across investment and non-investment functions globally, partnering closely with hiring managers and Human Capital colleagues to deliver a high-quality recruitment experience.

The successful candidate will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and market mapping through offer management and onboarding handoff, while contributing to employer branding, talent pipeline development, and recruitment process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across investment and non-investment functions globally.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements, role specifications, team structures, and hiring priorities.
  • Develop sourcing strategies utilizing direct search, referrals, networking, job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, and external search firms.
  • Conduct market mapping and talent identification exercises across key markets.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate assessments.
  • Coordinate interview processes and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment pipelines.
  • Prepare recruitment updates, hiring reports, and status summaries for management.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a trusted recruitment partner to business leaders and hiring managers.
  • Provide market intelligence, compensation insights, and candidate availability trends.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and search firms.
  • Ensure consistent communication and follow-up throughout the recruitment process.

Recruitment Operations

  • Maintain and administer recruitment systems, trackers, and applicant management platforms.
  • Manage offer preparation and recruitment documentation.
  • Coordinate background checks and pre-employment screening processes.
  • Ensure all approvals and recruitment governance requirements are completed prior to hire.
  • Partner with HC Operations to ensure smooth handoff from recruitment to onboarding. This aligns with the firm's recruitment-to-onboarding workflow. 

Employer Branding & Campus Recruitment

  • Support employer branding initiatives, social media recruitment campaigns, and industry events.
  • Coordinate university relations, internship programs, and campus recruitment activities.
  • Build and maintain talent communities for future hiring needs.
  • Support career fairs, industry conferences, and networking initiatives.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring manager engagement.
  • Develop recruitment analytics and reporting dashboards.
  • Ensure recruitment processes remain scalable and aligned with regulatory and governance requirements.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • 3-8 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience, preferably within financial services, asset management, hedge funds, investment banking, technology, or professional services.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent hiring processes across different functions and locations.
  • Strong sourcing and direct search capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and recruitment reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English required; Asian language skills would be advantageous.
