Manages and develops a team of Facilities Managers to achieve performance objectives in quality, timeliness, cost effectiveness, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Assists in the preparation and execution of annual operations and maintenance plans and budgets, while coordinating and monitoring assigned activities.
Oversees the planning and delivery of major maintenance, replacement, and facility improvement projects.
Ensures annual and master plans are implemented in accordance with approved policies, processes, and standards.
Analyses Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) performance and operational metrics to identify successes, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Provides training, coaching, and guidance on policies, procedures, performance expectations, and operational boundaries.
Ensures compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and Church standards.
Aligns field operations with departmental objectives and service expectations.
Conducts facility inspections and engages with priesthood leaders to assess meetinghouse conditions and customer satisfaction.
Monitors and reports performance, recommends improvement strategies, and addresses operational risks.
Adapts to changing priorities and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
12 years of any combination of related experience including completion of a relevant university degree or an industry-recognized certification. Former work-related leadership experience.
Proven front-line management skills in multi-discipline work environment.
Knowledge of facility and property management, construction procedures, business practices, safety and fire codes.
Ability to communicate at a professional level both written and verbally to priesthood leaders, contractors, and vendors.
English proficiency and ability to communicate at a professional level both written and verbally to priesthood leaders, contractors, vendors, and upper management.
Demonstrate problem-solving skills for complex business challenges.
Articulate clearly the vision and methodology in achieving desired results.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
Able to work with diverse cultures and willing to travel regularly.
