Job Description - Regional Talent Development Manager
We are retained by one of our clients, worldâs leading luxury Group, to recruit a Regional Talent development Manager to join their Hong Kong office. Based in Hong Kong, the Regional Talent Development Manager will be in charge of Talent Development, Career Management and Organization Development for North Asia (Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea). He/She will also be in charge of cascading all talent development actions within the region.
You will report operationally to the Regional HR Director.
General missions:
1. Talent Development
Enhance the development of employees and manage L&D programs while working closely with HR Business Partners.
Identify development needs and propose and manage local programs
Manage training vendors to support the design and implementation of local programs
Assess training program effectiveness to ensure learning outcomes are achieves
Align with HR Business Partners to improve and support the training nomination processes for both Group and Brand level programs
Ensure the implementation of the global HQ learning and development action plans across the region
2. Career Management
Ensure a smooth and effective induction process for all newcomers
Identify key talent within the organization, create and follow up dedicated action plans for key talents to make them grow within the organization
Grow people within the organization promoting internal mobility and offering motivating career paths
3. Organization Development
Lead and manage projects and sessions related to HR and organization both locally and globally
Identify opportunities in the organization and generate and implement necessary action plans to enhance the culture and work environment
Plan and lead ad-hoc projects and initiatives considering the organization needs and changes. (i.e. Diversity & Inclusion)
4. Talent Acquisition
In collaboration with HQ, develop strong and attractive employer brand across the region
Identify a talent pool of talents at all level and in all functions
Build strong partnerships with top schools in the region to attract the best in class young graduates
Ensure the implementation of the Excellence in recruitment mindset and guidelines within the HR community
Campus Management: set up part internships with schools (in order to reach our localisation targets)
5. Project Management
Support all the annual key HR processes
Performance and Career Reviews
Individual Compensation Reviews
Organization Management Reviews
In charge of CSR activities, including proposing new activities
Profile and experience:
7 years+ HR related experiences in sizeable MNC ideally within the learning and development function
Bachelorâs degree or above preferred
Focused on delivering excellence
Flexibility, agility and ability to multi-task
Independent highly motivated fast learner
Enjoy teamwork, maintain good relationship
