Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking (Singapore market focus)

Location: Hong Kong (with frequent travel to Singapore)

A leading international bank is seeking an experienced Corporate Banking professional to join its growing platform, focusing on large-cap corporates and public sector clients in Singapore.

Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Banking, this role will be responsible for originating and managing senior client relationships, delivering tailored financial solutions, and driving revenue growth across a broad suite of products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and expand relationships with large corporates and public sector entities in Singapore
2. Originate new business opportunities aligned with the bank’s strategic priorities
3. Lead end-to-end deal execution, including pitching, structuring, credit approvals, and transaction closing
4. Drive cross-selling initiatives across lending, trade finance, cash management, treasury (FX, rates, commodities), and capital markets solutions
5. Build and execute strategic account plans to deepen client engagement and wallet share
6. Ensure disciplined risk management and strong audit outcomes

Requirements

1. Approximately 10+ years of experience in corporate banking, relationship management, deal origination, or loan syndication
2. Proven track record covering large Singapore corporates or government-linked entities
3. Background within an international banking environment in Hong Kong or Singapore is advantageous
4. Strong product knowledge across corporate lending, trade finance, cash management, treasury, and capital markets
5. Solid credit analysis and presentation capabilities
6. Highly driven, well-organised, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
7. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline (advanced degrees are a plus)
8. Fluent in English; Mandarin language skills are beneficial but not essential
