Key Responsibilities
New Client Acquisition: Proactively prospect and onboard new SME accounts, driving growth across CASA deposits, business credit, and core banking offerings.
Commercial Credit & SFGS Financing: Evaluate client borrowing requirements and draft tailored credit packages, utilizing government-backed SFGS schemes and commercial loan options to power business expansion.
Client Engagement & Risk Control: Build enduring partnerships with corporate decision-makers while maintaining strict adherence to credit risk standards and internal bank compliance guidelines.
Team Guidance & Internal Alignment: Support junior colleagues on business development tactics while partnering with cross-functional product teams to accelerate onboarding and credit processing.
Requirements
Education: Diploma or degree holder, ideally in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Professional Experience: At least 3 years in commercial or SME banking relationship management and business development. A strong background in new-to-bank customer acquisition is highly desirable.
Regulatory Qualifications: Valid IIQE (Papers 1, 3, 5) and HKSI (Papers 1, 7, 8) credentials for distributing wealth and insurance offerings.
Subject Matter Expertise: Solid grasp of SME commercial banking products, deposit structures, credit facilities, and government-backed financing programs (e.g., SFGS).
Core Competencies: Results-driven mindset with sharp commercial acuity, strong communication skills, and proven negotiation ability with business executives.
Language Skills: Fluent in spoken and written Cantonese and English; proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage.
