RFP Manager (AVP/VP)- (Global Asset Management)

Overview

We are partnering with a top-tier, globally recognised asset manager to hire an experienced RFP professional at AVP/VP level in Hong Kong. This is a high-impact role within a growing regional team, supporting institutional and intermediary distribution across Asia and global channels. You will lead the end-to-end RFP/RFI/DDQ process, elevate content quality, and collaborate closely with Sales, Investments, Product, Operations, and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own and project-manage RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs for institutional and intermediary clients across APAC ex Japan.
2. Translate complex investment strategies (equities, fixed income, multi-asset, alternatives, ESG) into clear, compelling responses aligned to client objectives
3. Partner with Portfolio Managers, Product Specialists, Sales, and Legal/Compliance to source data points, performance, risk metrics, and narratives; ensure accuracy and consistency
4. Maintain and enhance the RFP content library and knowledge base; implement best practices, templates, and version control
5. Drive continuous improvement in response quality, win themes, and time-to-market through analytics and feedback loops
6. Support consultant databases, marketing collateral, and due diligence updates as needed
7. Contribute to strategic pitches, finals presentations, and content localization for Asian markets

Requirements

1. 4–8+ years of RFP/RFI/DDQ experience within asset management
2. Candidates with the experience/background of Sales Support/Client Services/Investment Writer/Investment Marketing will be considered for this role.
3. Strong product knowledge across public markets; exposure to alternatives and ESG integration a plus
4. Exceptional writing and editing skills in English; ability to synthesize technical content into client-centric value propositions
5. Solid understanding of performance/risk metrics, attribution, benchmark nuances, and regulatory constraints
