Risk and Compliance Analyst, Foreign Corp Bank (33K)

Our client is a stable boutique foreign corporate bank with a strong presence in Hong Kong and across Asia. The bank is committed to maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance and risk management while supporting sustainable business growth. They are now actively looking for a junior candidate to join their risk and compliance team to provide support on the risk and compliance function for the bank.

Your new role

• 
  Support the implementation and maintenance of the Bank's general compliance and risk management framework
  
• Assist in conducting compliance reviews and risk assessments, and prepare related reports
• Monitor regulatory updates and new requirements, and communicate key changes to relevant stakeholders
• Provide support in policy and procedure reviews, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and internal guidelines
• Assist in handling regulatory enquiries, inspections, and reporting requirements
• Support risk monitoring activities, including control testing and issue tracking
• Collaborate with business units to promote risk awareness and a strong compliance culture
• Assist in the delivery of training sessions on compliance and risk-related topics
• Provide support for internal audits, projects, and process improvement initiatives
• Assist with ad hoc assignments as required by the management.

What you'll need to succeed

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related discipline.
  
• 
  Require 1-3 years of experience in compliance/risk management in Banking.
  
• Basic knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory requirements (e.g., HKMA / SFC) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese is a must.
