Job Description - Sales Development Representative

Sales Development Representative

Role Overview:
The Sales Development Representative in Hong Kong will be a key driver for outbound and inbound sales efforts across the Asia Pacific region. You will engage with hedge funds and investment managers, identifying prospects, qualifying leads, and supporting the sales pipeline. This position provides a strong foundation for moving into full-cycle sales roles, with a focus on generating qualified opportunities and optimizing engagement strategies.

Key Skills & Experience:
• Prior SDR (sales development representative) experience (internship or full-time) with a strong interest in sales
• Confident in cold calling and outbound outreach
• Fluent in spoken and written Chinese
• Creative, empathetic, and possess high emotional intelligence
• Able to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Positive, resourceful, and strong interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute outbound outreach via cold calling, cold emailing, and other communication channels
• Manage inbound leads, develop prospects, and qualify opportunities
• Map target organizations and identify key decision-makers within hedge funds and investment firms
• Deliver compelling value propositions tailored to prospects’ needs
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimize conversion processes
• Utilize sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and others to support engagement activities

This role is based in Hong Kong with prospecting spanning across Asia Pacific.
