Commercial Banking – Global Trade Solutions


 


Hang Seng's Commercial Banking business provides customized one-stop financial solutions to our corporate customers, from prime small and medium-sized businesses to publicly listed companies.


 


For customers conducting business locally or around the world, we offer a comprehensive range of services including corporate lending, trade solutions, structured loan, cash management, investment, treasury services, insurance and e-Banking services. As a reliable financial partner, we attend to the specific business needs of our customers and provide efficient tailor-made banking solutions through our relationship managers and dedicated specialists.


 


We are looking for high calibre professionals to join our team as Manager, Sales, Global Trade Solutions.


 


 


Principal responsibilities



  • Establishing new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of clients.

  • Communicating new products, propositions and relevant market information to clients.

  • Proactively identifying sales opportunities and developing these opportunities.

  • Devising plans and strategies to increase revenue for existing clients to achieve asset growth, sales or revenue targets.

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship mangers and product specialists, to maximise cross-selling opportunities for the Bank.

  • Participating in events, initiatives and activities to develop business opportunities.

  • Developing and implementing distribution channel business development strategies.

  • Protecting the bank's reputation and ensuring an acceptable risk profile whilst deepening the understanding of the client through credit and customer due diligence reviews.





 

 



Requirements



  • University graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications

  • Proven experience in corporate lending or trade finance

  • Strong customer service orientation and analytical ability, with good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Resilient, capable to work responsibly in a dynamic environment

  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage

  • High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers

  • Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage
