Secure Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, protocols, and procedures.


• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents, and respond to potential threats.


• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.


• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration and maintenance of systems and networks.


• Participate in security audits and compliance assessments.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices.


• Provide support in the investigation and resolution of security incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


• Basic understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.


• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.


• Knowledge of security frameworks like PCI DSS, ISO 27001  is a plus.
