The objectives of the position are:
To provide support to the team in key improvement initiatives including Sustainability, Process improvements, Automation, etc
To ensure the packaging layout, label and manual are correct and is delivered on time
To teach and provide guidance to the Artwork Coordinator to handle tasks and projects
Proactively support internal and external stakeholders that ensure our shipments release as planned and forecasted
The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his / her superior:
Handle packaging layout, label and manual proofreading for assigned projects
Liaise with merchandising team on product details
Liaise with artwork agencies and factories for project follow up
Conduct quality control of artwork production
Manage quality of printing and packaging of suppliers / factories
Lead when requested day to day process or operational improvement projects that drive efficiencies and simplicity for the company
Provide support to the Assistant Manager & Manager in problem-solving and handling ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Providing assistance and solutions to Artwork Officer
Independent work (relieving the manager of tasks, having an overall operational overview and being a role model and mentor for other colleagues)
Be involved in smaller projects (preparation of materials, presentation of results, work out processes and get involved in the projects)
Form 7 or above
At least 5 years relevant experience
Familiar with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat and MS Office/Google Workspace
Pre-print knowledge is preferable
Experience in printer house is preferable
Good command in English (especially in writing), Mandarin and Cantonese
Passionate, self-motivated individual who collaborates well with others
Communication Skill: Excellent communication skill (both written and verbal) to ensure tasks completed are understood and accepted by key stakeholders
Complex Problem-Solving skills to work through barriers and or ineffective ways of working that ensures on time artwork print file release
