Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections/health checks of CBG according to regional health check methodologies
• Identify any operations deficiencies/gaps of the business, including identify root causes, responsible parties, appropriate management actions and then agree the action plan with management to address the gaps so as to improve the control environment of the business unit inspected
• Evaluate the actual control environment of individual products/process/unit by adopting relevant health check checklist
• Ensure full details of the test work undertaken and the results are documented
• Draw a conclusion on the system of internal control at the end of the fieldwork phase by writing a clear, concise and contemporary Record of Finding/ Inspection Report/ Health Check Report
• Follow through from beginning to end on assigned responsibility and complete the assignment within budgeted time assigned
• Promote control & compliance culture and risk & control awareness through health checks, sharing of best practices and lessons learnt

Key Accountabilities

• To carry out inspections/health checks on branch operations to test compliance with internal policies and procedures and external regulations according to health check methodologies in order to achieve risk management and regulatory compliance in CBG.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in banking operations, compliance or audit
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager, Branch Inspection
• Understands how role is connected to the bigger picture, makes decisions, and executes
