Senior Associate/Assistant Manager Fund Operations

Responsibilities

1. Support daily operations of money market funds, fixed income funds and L&I products, including cash forecasting and management, margin and collateral management, FX execution, trade processing and settlement monitoring, and end-to-end investment lifecycle management (e.g., security master maintenance, corporate actions).
2. Prepare daily reports and assist in fund audits and tax reporting processes. Maintain up-to-date process flowcharts and standard operating procedures to ensure robust operational controls and audit trail integrity.
3. Manage broker account onboarding, including account opening, KYC documentation, and ongoing due diligence and monitoring.
4. Drive digitalization initiatives, including workflow automation, data integration and connectivity, operational system enhancements, and onboarding of new counterparties.
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely resolution of issues with external parties.
6. Support the launch and ongoing operations of new products across authorized funds, private funds, mandates, and multi-jurisdictional structures.

Requirements

1. 1–3 years of experience in front-, middle-, or back-office roles within an asset management firm, with a solid understanding of investment operations (in particular on fixed income products, Repo, derivatives including futures ,TRS, CDS, IRS, etc).
2. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
3. Experience in automation and data analytics; proficiency in Python and/or SQL is and advantage.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
5. Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively; hands-on and proactive working style.
6. Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for Assistant Manager position.
