Small Business Development Manager

How you succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll need to take a customer-centric approach, understanding the needs and challenges of small business owners and tailoring your support to meet their individual requirements. You'll build strong relationships with your clients, identify opportunities for growth, and provide expert guidance on financial products and services. By doing so, you'll drive business growth, increase customer satisfaction, and contribute to the success of OCBC.

What you do

• Acquire New-to-Bank clients to SME segment.
• Act as the single point of contact, managing the end-to-end KYC process.
• Conduct customer due diligence, AML assessment, FATCA and CRS in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Achieve individual business targets and contribute to the performance of the team.
• Proactive connect with key contact persons from channels for business expansion.
• Timely communication with clients regarding inquiries on know your customer requirements.
• Client experience management via handling of customer inquiries with timely response.
• Able to handle complex NTB application, e.g. complex structure, NBFI, SCC, PEP, etc.

Who you are

• - A degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• - At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
• - Strong understanding of financial products and services, including loans, credit cards, and cash management solutions
• - Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
• - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
• - Passion for supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs
