Senior Commercial Consultancy Manager

The project:

This is a major mixed-use development, consisting of large commercial and public buildings, entertainment and retail areas and lavish landscaping and public real.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Lead the preparation, administration, and execution of contract documents, ensuring compliance throughout delivery.
• Oversee valuations, variations, cost control, and monthly post‑contract reporting to maintain commercial rigour.
• Evaluate claims, negotiate final accounts, and guide completion certifications.
• Drive continuous improvement, enhancing commercial systems and processes.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to commercial teams.
• Build effective stakeholder relationships and champion low‑carbon, sustainable project outcomes.

You’ll need to have:

• Proven commercial management experience with strong contract, cost, and risk management capability.
• Degree in quantity surveying/cost management and progressing toward relevant professional membership (e.g., MRICS).
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and digital skills with effective stakeholder communication.
• Knowledge of BIM, sustainability, and industry best practice, driving continuous improvement and inclusive delivery.
