Solution Architecture: Plan, design, and implement custom solutions to address complex business challenges, specifically focusing on Commission Calculation engines, multi-tier agent hierarchies, overrides, and clawback logic within the insurance domain.
Execution Excellence: Accountable for customer success and building trust through the delivery of high-accuracy financial and distribution data reconciliation within core platforms.
Business Growth (Rainmaker): Collaborate with internal teams to drive key initiatives, pitch and close strategic sales opportunities, and identify new revenue streams within the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and insurance tech space.
Team Leadership: Develop high-performing people and teams through challenging and meaningful opportunities, fostering a culture of technical excellence and industry-specific functional expertise.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred.
8+ years of experience in technology consulting or IT project management, with at least 4 years as an Architect focusing on Insurance Core Systems (e.g., Guidewire, SAP, Duck Creek) and technology modernization.
Deep knowledge of Distribution Compensation Logic, including producer management, commission hierarchies, and the integration of these systems with Finance/GL modules.
Experience with modern cloud platforms (Alibaba, Huawei, Tencent Cloud) and database solutions. Proven ability to design architectures that integrate Core Policy engines with external partnership ecosystems (e.g., digital brokers and retail partners).
Strong knowledge of data migration processes, including ETL and reconciliation, specifically ensuring the financial integrity of commission and payment history during large-scale system transitions.
Proven experience in managing high-stakes system cutovers and rehearsal arrangements for mission-critical insurance applications.
Mastery of Hong Kong’s financial services regulatory environment (HKIA compliance, GN16) and a strategic understanding of IFRS 17 acquisition cost requirements.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders and present complex technical/functional roadmaps to C-level executives (CFOs, COOs, and Heads of Distribution).
Certifications: PMP, TOGAF, or similar certifications are a plus.
Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
