Senior Consultant - Transfer Pricing - Hong Kong

About the Business

Work you'll do

• Provide initial recommendations of current tax legislation across the Global Tax and Business Advisory function to Manager level practitioners


•  Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the key capabilities required to deliver a high quality service experience to the client 


• Conduct economic analyses based on accounting principles, financial/transactional data concepts, industry specific/non-standard data sources and assumptions


• Prepare client questionnaires, industry analysis and data requests ensuring sufficient information is obtained and summarized accurately 


• Select appropriate methods for collecting and analyzing data, and develop informed recommendations that shape or support the client’s business strategy 


• Demonstrate practical knowledge and use of Transfer Pricing (TP) technology


• Identify complex TP issues and make referrals to other tax teams based on local or domestic income tax, corporate tax, international tax, and customs tax principles

We are looking for someone with

• Bachelor's degree or above, with two to four years of TP experience


• A qualification certificate is preferred, including but not limited to HKICPA, CICPA, ACCA, AICPA or CTA


• Good understanding of accounting standards, transfer pricing laws/rules 


• Strong business writing skills in both English and Chinese as well as fluent spoken English and Mandarin language


• Speaking Cantonese or Japanese would be a plus 


• Good communication skills and can maintain positive working relationships with appropriate client personnel on all engagements


• Outstanding ability of effectively managing multiple engagements independently and under time pressure
