Senior Design Manager

The client:

This client is a major financial institution with commercial offices based in the major cities across the APAC region.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading design governance, ensuring projects meet minimum standards and resolving deviations with stakeholders.
• Providing expert design guidance, training, and updates to strengthen project delivery capability.
• Coordinating global, regional, and local teams to align standards, approvals, and operational practices.
• Monitor, report, and present design compliance, risks, insights, and improvement opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, lessons learned, and supplementary guidance materials.
• Build strong client relationships and influence outcomes through trusted technical expertise.

You’ll need to have:

• Degree in architecture or interior design, with recognised professional accreditation preferred.
• Proven experience in design governance, assurance, and end to end project delivery.
• Strong capability engaging senior stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.
• Skilled in navigating commercial, regulatory, and organisational environments.
• Confident leading multidisciplinary teams across regions and complex programmes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite; full time presence required in Hong Kong.
