The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 51 offices globally, including 13 in the Chinese Mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub.

The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. The HKTDC also provides up-to-date market insights and product information via research reports and digital news channels.

As we celebrate our 60th anniversary in 2026 and begin a new three-year business cycle, our mission remains as strong as ever to help Hong Kong thrive in trade and businesses succeed in the ever-changing landscape.

We are seeking for a dynamic, high-calibre and experienced Human Resources professional to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Human Resources Business Partner to overseas offices, responding to enquiries and liaising with internal and external stakeholders on HR-related matters;
  • Support the full spectrum of HR services including recruitment, performance management, and other HR-related functions;
  • Manage staff administration and other HR matters for overseas offices
  • Coordinate staff movement activities, including overseas postings, secondments, transfers and related administrative arrangements;
  • Maintain employee records in HR and other systems, ensuring staff information is accurate and up to date;
  • Prepare HR reports, analytics and system-generated data to support HR operations and decision making;
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience preferably gained in human resources, or related disciplines; experience in HRIS implementation, system enhancement is an advantage;
  • Experience in supporting HR operations within an APAC or global environment, with exposure to overseas offices is highly preferred;
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines;
  • Mature, proactive with strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Chinese word processing;
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.

 

Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.
