Senior Investment Analyst/ Assistant Investment Analyst (Asset Allocation)

China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited (“China Life (Overseas)”) with presence in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Indonesia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Life Insurance (Group) Company, China’s largest financial insurance corporation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze global macro events development and cross-asset implications.


• Research macroeconomic data, monetary and fiscal policy and core drivers of asset prices, and monitor rate sensitive sectors.


• Implement ALM policy and optimize risk-adjusted return of portfolios through strategic asset allocation and tactical asset allocation.


• Recommend new investment to match new product.


• Perform investment performance calculation by asset classes and risk factors.


• Responsible for conducting investment budgeting, cash flow forecast and etc.


• Ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Actuary, Finance, Risk Management or related disciplines.


• 5 years' experience with exposures in strategic asset allocation and ALM related areas. (Candidates with less experience will be considered as Investment Analyst/ Assistant Investment Analyst.)


• Knowledge of the solvency, RBC, rules and regulations of the regulator are required.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as solid analytical thinking and quantitative skills, with experience using VBA.


• Proficient in written Chinese and English, spoken Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
