We are currently seeking a high-calibre professional to join our department as Senior Life Product Manager.

Principal responsibilities

• Being the Life Product management team, develop channel proposition strategy and oversee implementation of product, segment and initiatives to enable business growth and to achieve the company business targets
• Lead life insurance product development end-to-end (ideation, design, launch and optimisation), partnering with Distribution (including frontlines and governance teams), Pricing, Operations, Marketing and IT to deliver channel-ready propositions for priority customer segments, and using performance and customer analytics to refine the product strategy and drive business growth
• Champion different insurance product initiatives with detailed product intelligence and market research for meeting business targets to facilitate necessary business actions and strategic planning
• Build strong relationship and understanding with both of our local and global insurance business and bank partners and identify business opportunities
• Contribute to the development, implementation and oversight of policy and governance frameworks, procedures, practices and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance
• Monitor and analyse the product performance so as to provide strategic product recommendation for business growth and improvement
• Ensure effective product compensation scheme for various channels to drive desired sales behaviours
• Manage development of effective product strategy with performance monitoring and analysis
• Maximize data analytics to identify target customer segments and business potentials
• Develop segment strategies and propositions initiatives across channels to drive business goals
• Provide ad hoc support in projects and initiatives as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in life insurance product development and management
• University degree, with actuarial science degree and / or professional qualifications such as FSA or ASA equivalent an advantage
• Actuarial pricing experiences is highly preferable
• Strong business acumen and marketing sense, excellent problem-solving, analytical and project management skills
• Good life insurance product knowledge
• Team management experience with good leadership skills is preferred
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Good analytical skills and attentive to details
• Good leadership skills coupled with a high and demanding benchmark
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese
