Senior Manager, Corporate Banking Operation(Loans, Trade Finance, Treasury Settlement)

Our client is a stable and expanding regional corporate bank. They are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Operation to manage the Loans Operation & Agency Operation Team, Trade Finance Team and Treasury Settlement Team in order to expand their operation capacity in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage back end bank operations (Loans Operation & Agency Operation, Trade Finance & Treasury Settlement) efficiently and in accordance with appropriate regulations.
2. Act as a checker to review & approve documents submitted by the teams and approve relevant transactions & payments through application systems
3. Plan, direct and control bank operations, ensuring that established policies and procedures are followed and delegating responsibilities to staff as needed to meet bank objectives.
4. Collaboration with senior executives to formulate & setup appropriate goal, guidelines & operation procedures.
5. Liaise with regulatory units (HKMA) & external stakeholders on operation related matter
6. Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with Banking standards, policies and practices and report/correct control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational defects.

Requirements:

1. Degree or above
2. 15 years+ banking operation experience especially in corporate banking loan operation
3. Solid experience with 5 years + professional leadership experience in a banking setting.
4. Excellent experience in Corporate Banking Loan Operation (Loan Agency Included)
5. All rounded Corporate Banking operation experience across Loans Operation (Loan Agency Included), Trade Finance and Treasury Settlement would be highly preferable
6. Prior hands on Corporate Banking Operation Checker experience would be an advantage
