Senior Manager | (Mainframe/COBOL) | Bank | Perm | 70 -80k

• Responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and controlling the delivery of mainframe system related services
  

• Ensure the IT infrastructure related projects are delivered on time & relevant controls are performed accurately & properly according to the Bank’s standard procedures
  

• Ensure the mainframe performance and develop recommendations for corrections or improvements
  

• Manage in preparation of team budget
  

• Manage AS/400 maintenance support  
  

• Propose mainframe standard and utilities to be adopted
  

• Manage mainframe administration functions
  

• Perform mainframe system administration functions
  

• Participate in mainframe system configuration design review
  

• Manage in problem solving related to mainframe system area 
  

Requirements

• University graduate, preferably major in Computer Science related subjects or equivalent; AND
  

• Preferable over 20 years' working experience in the IT mainframe sector cover the following:
  

• At least 15 years hand on experience in managing mainframe services;
  

• In -depth knowledge in IT mainframe infrastructure services;
  

• Past experience in managing mainframe subsystem software MQ, DB2, z/Connect, Control -M/D/T/O, Endevor, ISIS and etc. with setup, customization, testing, monitoring, upgrade and problem support advantageous
  

• Good project management and leadership skills;
  

• Team leader with good communication skills and risk awareness;
  

• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is preferable.
