We are seeking strategic and collaborative team players to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our research postgraduate programmes.


Senior Manager / Manager (25260734)


Responsibilities:


Service Enhancement and Stakeholder Engagement



  • Drive continuous service improvement by analysing programme data and user feedback to design and implement effective enhancements; and

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive system enhancements, strengthening data integrity and reliability to support quality assurance, governance, and strategic planning.


Quality Assurance



  • Collaborate closely with academic reviewers and stakeholders to conduct programme quality reviews and monitor outcomes; and

  • Coordinate committees, prepare discussion papers and minutes, and provide secretariat support.


Student Support and Development



  • Assist in overseeing the full RPG lifecycle, ensuring efficient, effective, and compliant administration from admission through to graduation; and

  • Develop, review, and streamline policies, workflows, and operational processes to enhance efficiency, ensure compliance, and enrich the overall student experience.


Office Management and Leadership



  • Provide leadership to a team of administrative staff, ensuring the seamless integration of systems, data, human resources, and financial operations to enhance departmental effectiveness.


Requirements:



  • A bachelor’s degree or above is required;

  • At least 10 years of experience in academic administration, research management, or any professional domain;

  • Strong understanding of the research postgraduate landscape and the unique needs of graduate students;

  • Proven leadership capability, with strong project management and demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and collaboration; and

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and support evidence‑based decision-making.


The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of 3 years. Candidates with less experience may be offered the post of Manager on a fixed-term contract of 2 years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.


Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.


Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
