Senior Manager/Manager, Business Intelligence (SAS, Python, Tableau knowledge preferred)

Key Accountabilities:

1. Conduct in-depth business portfolio review and product specific analysis to drive business strategy and increase customer profitability.
2. Conduct quantitative analysis to identify new business opportunities, optimize profitability and marketing efficiency of business and ascertain root cause of business issues. Apply data mining and statistics (i.e. retention models, customer segmentation models, predictive forecast).
3. Advise on appropriate analytical models based on available data, technology and platform.
4. Prepare reports based on analysis and present to management with strategic actionable insights.
5. Develop & maintain various performance dashboard by Tableau.
6. Work closely with internal stakeholders, and external vendors on project planning and execution.
7. Demonstrates initiative to go beyond the normal routine and look for new ways to add value.

Requirements:

1. Degree holder in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Information Management or related disciplines.
2. Minimum 5 years’ working experience in business intelligence analytics / database marketing in banking / financial industry is preferred.
3. Knowledge on retail banking business/products & operational risk is an advantage.
4. Preferably possess / obtain Core or Professional level of qualification under the HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) on Financial technology (Fintech).
5. Good at business intelligence applications, analytics platform, database software such as SAS, Python, Tableau and Excel.
6. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
