About The Role
The Senior Manager/Manager, Strategy and Transformation will play a central role in driving enterprise-level strategic programs and transformation initiatives for Shangri-La Circle. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, PMO, and execution, ensuring that key priorities are clearly defined, rigorously governed, and effectively delivered across markets and functions.
You will help translate strategy into action—building structured plans, driving cross-functional alignment, and ensuring disciplined execution of initiatives that enhance member value proposition, commercial performance, and ecosystem growth. This role is ideal for someone with a consulting, strategy, or transformation background, who is equally comfortable with big-picture thinking and hands-on delivery
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Execution & Transformation Delivery
- Translate Shangri-La Circle’s strategic priorities into clear, actionable programs and transformation roadmaps.
- Drive execution of key initiatives across loyalty, partnerships, digital, and customer experience.
- Ensure alignment between strategic objectives, business outcomes, and implementation plans.
- Support leadership in prioritization, trade-offs, and sequencing of initiatives.
2. PMO & Governance
- Establish and run PMO frameworks, governance cadence, and tracking mechanisms for strategic initiatives.
- Develop and manage integrated workplans, milestones, dependencies, and risk registers.
- Lead regular steering committees, progress reviews, and executive updates.
- Ensure transparency, accountability, and timely escalation of risks/issues.
3. Cross-Functional Program Management
- Serve as a central coordinator across functions (Commercial, Digital, IT, Finance, Operations, Brand, Hotels).
- Drive alignment across regional and property-level stakeholders.
- Manage interdependencies across initiatives to ensure cohesive delivery and minimal duplication.
- Facilitate decision-making and resolve cross-functional bottlenecks.
4. Strategic Analysis & Decision Support
- Structure and deliver data-driven analyses, business cases, and recommendations to support key decisions.
- Track initiative impact across commercial, customer, and operational KPIs.
- Support leadership with scenario planning, performance reviews, and strategic insights.
- Build executive-ready materials for senior leadership and board-level discussions.
5. Transformation & Change Management
- Support organizational transformation through clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and change planning.
- Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and program enhancements across regions and hotels.
- Identify capability gaps and support initiatives to build organizational readiness.
- Track realization of benefits and ensure initiatives deliver intended outcomes.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in strategy consulting, transformation, PMO, or corporate strategy roles.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional programs in a matrix organization.
- Experience in hospitality, loyalty programs, travel, financial services, or digital ecosystems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in business case development and performance tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to drive execution and influence senior stakeholders.
