Job Description - Senior Officer, Merchant Partnerships & Card Acquisition

Description
  • Identify, approach and develop new merchant and business partnership opportunities to support credit card customer acquisition and card usage growth
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with merchants, external partners and internal stakeholders to drive business results
  • Support the execution of partnership campaigns, customer acquisition activities and card usage / activation initiatives
  • Coordinate with internal teams on campaign setup, onboarding flow, operational arrangement and post-launch follow-up
  • Conduct market research and collect competitor / industry intelligence to identify new business opportunities and recommend improvement ideas
  • Track partnership and acquisition performance, prepare regular management reports, and provide data insights to support business planning
  • Review customer journey and onboarding process, and recommend practical enhancements to improve conversion and user experience
  • Support ad hoc business projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned


Requirements
  • Diploma holder or above, or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in banking, financial services, merchant acquisition, partnership development, sales or related fields
  • Exposure to credit card, unsecured lending, payment, merchant partnership or customer acquisition business is preferred
  • Self-motivated with strong business sense and good interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and follow through on execution
  • Good analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Good communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Candidates with immediate availability will be an advantage
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
