Senior Project Executive (Business Development - Renewable Contract))

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks dynamic, high-caliber and experienced professionals to join our Business Development Team. To strengthen Hong Kong's role as Asia's international business platform, we organise more than 30 world-class international trade fairs in Hong Kong each year.  These fairs, which cover various industries and sectors, create opportunities for companies to promote their products or services to buyers from all over the world.

Responsibilities:

• Develop content for online sales workflows and optimize results
• Assist Business Development Manager, Inbound Marketing to grow online business in mainland China and overseas by identifying opportunities, optimizing platforms, and improving user engagement
• Support Business Development Manager, Sponsorship with market research, proposal drafting, and CRM management
• Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to execute integrated campaigns quickly responding to market trends
• Provide pre-sales and after-sales online support to drive conversions and up-sell opportunities
• Offer on-site support for trade fair sponsorship campaigns

Requirements:

• A recognized university degree with at least 3 years’ working experience, in areas such as: business development; sales and marketing; exhibition/event management; content & digital marketing; project management; customer service
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua; proficiency in a third language is an advantage
• A collaborative team player with proven leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adept at managing complex projects across physical and digital domains
• Outgoing, culturally adaptable, and comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders
• Innovative, adaptable, and capable of delivering results under tight deadlines and resource constraints
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays as required to support trade fairs and time-sensitive digital campaigns

Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave will be offered.
