Senior Project Executive (Entertainment Industry)

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks dynamic, high-caliber and experienced professionals to join our Service Promotion Department. To strengthen Hong Kong's role as Asia's international business platform, we organise more than 30 world-class international trade fairs in Hong Kong each year.  These fairs, which cover various industries and sectors, create opportunities for companies to promote their products or services to buyers from all over the world.

Responsibilities:

• Assist project managers in the overall planning and execution of local and overseas trade promotional events related to Entertainment Industry
• Coordinate project tasks including venue acquisition, booth design and construction, floor plan, procurement, logistics, and/or visits and crowd control, etc. with external and internal parties for events
• Assist project managers in identifying new business opportunities and supporting the development and implementation of new initiatives.
• Support the budget reporting for events
• Handle relevant enquiries and undertake on-site duties
• Liaise and maintain good relations with external and internal parties in accomplishing the project tasks
• Undertake administrative duties if necessary

Requirements:  

• University graduate with a minimum of 3 years' solid experience in exhibition services management is preferred
• Solid prior experience in administrative, business development and/or event management will be an advantage
• Proactive, self-initiated and detail-minded
• Mature, creative, with team spirit
• Able to multitask, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; Fluent in Putonghua
• Proficiency in MS applications and Chinese word-processing
• Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with people from all levels
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop would be an advantage

Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.
